I think next time winner shouln't be choosen by only votes. jury system with voting could be better.

Congratulations Lava Defense!
Any plans for improvement? Maybe adding multiplayer like salamander, also I had a problem with lagging when the spawning got high.
With some more time you could have a pretty good game.

Yeah, I had originally planed to add turrets that the player can place on the ground to help him survive. However, with time constraints and finals just on the horizon, I was left to do as much as I could from scratch(as in, from the tutorials) to try and submit something for the sake of entries. I wanted to maybe incorporate some type of Multi-player, maybe coop survival. However, I want to continue to work on the mechanics. The lagging had to do with my inexperience with making games. Aforethought, I know why it lags, and I know how to fix it :)!

It could be. The votes increased very fast at the end. Maybe we should have a jury or some other more reliable way of voting?
Congratulations to Lava Defense for winning and congratulations to Salamander Furnace for almost winning.

Until I implement membership requirements, there's not going to be an easy way to solve that issue.

..and then there is Facebook. People could have easily shared the webpage, seems soo much more plausable. At one point salamander furnace's votes were around 40, and then all of a sudden it was at 50 something within a few minutes. It looks like the rules for the poll were the same for both games, poor oh no valcano. Irregardless, grats to Lava Defense, your game has alot of potential.

I saw that too, but it didn't happen only to SF. I didn't even let my wife vote when she asked to. It's just a shame to rely on such a poll, but what can we do now?

Hmm. Is that what it came down to? From my limited data, it seems we played an anonymous internet poll by different rules. Congratulations, Yasin, for getting the most votes.
