SDLTutorials.com v2.0

I like where it is going, but it looks bland at the moment. I assume you will flesh it out as you go on.

Great feedback. If you guys hover over "Tutorials" at the top you can see a list of all the tutorials. Just like the current sidebar. This does give me an idea though, if you are on a tutorial I can show all tutorials in that category on the sidebar.

The mini game near the footer (which isn't finished), is an HTML5 game.

Unfortunately there won't be an option to use the old design because the new site will not be using wordpress.

Also, expect the code areas to have syntax highlighting and different theme options.

Interesting approach. i like the current way you present your code better, simply because its not just black and white. i guess I'm going towards more aesthetically appealing? also, how about a tutorial on your little game on the bottom LOL! did you use sdl? 'cus that would certainly be something really cool. I'm thinking its in flash but not too sure....

p.s maybe you could include a sidebar for easy and quick reference. idk maybe im biased because I'm used to the current layout you have not sure...

I like the current design better. The new one is very web2.0 and tries to look pretty, but the huge intro block, the colors, the lack of the sidebar with the tutorial links and the sheer amount of fonts used make it much less comfortable to use and read.

Black blocks of code on a white page are not the best idea, in my opinion. Gray ones are much easier on the eyes. Same issue with tags.

I would appreciate an option to switch back to the current design.

The very top bar is nice, but the current one is good too. The best part of the new page is the nice little mini-game, I like it (:
